Using the AI
How does the AI understand my workouts?
It uses Claude to read natural language. Type it any way you like — "bench 3x8 185lbs", "3 sets of 8 at 185", or "did some bench today, 3 sets of 8 at 185 pounds." It works out the exercise, sets, reps, and weight from context.
Can I log multiple exercises at once?
Yes. Describe the whole session in one message and every exercise lands under a single workout.
What if it logs something wrong?
Tell it: "change the squat weight to 235," or "that was 5 sets not 3." You can also edit any workout by hand.
Tracking
Does it support metric and imperial?
Both. Set your preference in your profile, then log in either — say "60kg" or "135lbs" and it converts.
Can I track bodyweight?
Yes. "I weigh 185 today" is enough. It's plotted against your goal.
Can it track injuries?
Yes. Mention it in chat and it's logged. Check in over time — "shoulder is a 3 out of 10 today" — and it tracks the trajectory and warns you before exercises that could set it back.
Platform and privacy
Is my data private?
Your training data is stored securely and only you can read it. We don't sell it or share it.
Is there a mobile app?
It's a web app that works well on a phone. Nothing to download.
Can I use it inside Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Workout Chat is a remote MCP server — add it as a connector and log from whichever AI you're already in. See the docs.
